We have put man on the moon, but we have yet to solve the problem of hunger.
By the year 2050, there is projected to be 9.7 billion people walking this earth. Food shortage is one of the main issues for countries like India and those in the continent of Africa, but ultimately food shortage will affect everyone on Earth.
Some 80 percent of the hungry are caught up in war or conflict and have no access to food. Often, opposition forces block their food. As more and more conflicts arise, the situation will become dire.
Wisdom Science aims to bring scientists together to create radical (Bible Inspired) food. The message in the Bible is clear; God does not want people to starve.
In the New Testament of the Bible, God fed 5000 people with two fish and 5 loaves of bread. From this, Wisdom Science takes the concept of breaking bread in half and then having it grow back exponentially as it breaks. Wisdom Science seeks to make vegetables like sweet potatoes grow back (within a day) when cut in half.
In the Old Testament of the Bible, God fed the Israelites manna. If we create manna-like food, we can help those displaced by war and conflict who have the least access to food.
We plan to find about 10 scientists who will commit to this endeavor. We have begun to talk to scientists about this project but hope to gain more momentum through your prayer support.
Mission:
The Mission of Wisdom Science is to advance undiscovered food science, empowering the next generation of innovators to invent Bible-inspired and other food sources that are easily portable to/by refugees in conflict/war zones, and thus end global hunger.
We hope to work with concerned scientists to collaborate with others towards zero hunger by 2035
Given that there are many issues such as environmental degradation, social unrest and global conflict on one side, and science and technologists who are advancing our society on the other side, and;
-- given that resources are becoming more and more depleted and climate change is damaging crop yields
--given that certain developing areas of the world are becoming over-populated.
--given that science and technology is widening the gap between the haves & have nots,
--given that more conflicts are likely to arise,
There is a need:
1. to educate the public to do good
2. to instill traditional values and focus on a humanity that cares for one another
3. for those who have much to work with scientists to do good.
